Christmas is such a wonderful time of the year for me. The sights, the sounds, the delicious aromas and the warm, happy feelings....Ahhh, it makes me happy just thinking about it.
I love to bake. I love listening to carols. I love the hustle and bustle in the stores. I love trying to pick out special gifts that I know will touch someone's heart. I love picking out our Christmas tree (something that takes me hours to do *S*) I love decorating our tree and reliving the memories held within each ornament. I love wrapping gifts. I love cooking a big Christmas dinner for my loved ones. I love seeing my family and friends all together in celebration.
I just all around LOVE Christmas!!!
Christmas to me is not about gifts & all the commercialism. As a matter of fact, my favorite days are those leading up to Christmas...and my MOST favorite day is Christmas Eve. The smell of apple cider warming on the stove and cookies baking in the oven. Christmas carols playing. My girls anxiously waiting for Santa to drive by our house on the back of a bright red fire engine, waving and ho-ho-ho-ing...letting the children know he is in town. Friends and family dropping in to visit. There is such a warm feeling that surrounds the season. It really is the MOST wonderful time of the year!
